Silence, silence... It is one of the biggest present given for free to us and very often we take it for granted without any appreciation.
I grew up in a very busy city and when I was planning move to England I was afraid I would not get use to the quiet of the countryside... How foolish I was!!!
It was very pleasant to go to bed and hear nothing. Go out in the morning to the garden and listen carefully to be able to hear the wind moving the leaves of the trees or passing careful through the grass...
In silence we start to recognise the voices of nature and we can enjoy the sound of the rain, the singing of a bird, the delicate movement of the flowers, the voices of the wind.
So... What happens when we go silent inside of us? How often do we quiet our minds and stay still? Are you feeling afraid to be quiet inside of you as I was nervous before to move to England? I tell you from experience: “Do not be afraid” take the chance and just be quiet... when we are still we can hear our heart, we can listen to the wise voice which lives inside of us, we can hear and follow our intuition, we can be in peace in the middle of the battle, we can be happy even when we are surrounded by pain, we can listen and play our internal music, we can fly....
This month I invite you to get quiet, start with your external world: no tv, no radio, no phones, no computers, no chatting for a day...then you will start to notice sounds you never heard before and you will find the inspiration to be quiet inside of you: practice, practice and then: discover the power to be in contact with yourself!!!!
